Melinda Clary joined LOPEZGARCIA GROUP in 2000 as an environmental scientist and was promoted to an environmental project manager in 2001. In 2006, Melinda transferred to the Austin office to reinforce the company’s presence and grow the environmental division in central Texas. Melinda’s primary responsibilities have included leading environmental assessments for clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Dallas District Advanced Planning Division (APD), Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Oncor Electric Delivery and the Department of Defense (DoD). Melinda managed and completed the first Environmental Assessment/Habitat Conservation Plan for Oncor Electric Delivery and successfully secured a Section 10(a) permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) on the project. The final product is now being used as a go-by by the USFWS.

Melinda received her Master of Science in Zoology and her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Science from Texas Tech University. She is active in:
