Doug Mikeworth joined LOPEZGARCIA GROUP in 1994 and currently serves as the Fort Worth office manager, leading the effort of the Fort Worth-based municipal/site civil team. Doug’s experience across multiple market sectors enables him to effectively manage a variety of efforts. Most recently, Doug led the design team for Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s (DART) Northwest Corridor Light Rail Transit Line Section 1B. This multi-million dollar, multi-component project features two park-and-ride stations with capacity for more than 600 vehicles and multiple light rail aerial stations. He has designed and reviewed plans for a variety of municipal water and wastewater treatment systems and multiple complex urban freeway interchanges for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). He has provided quality assurance and control for water resource and dam projects for the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE).

Doug received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas, Michigan and Montana. For the past several years has led LOPEZGARCIA GROUP’s annual Engineers Week celebration.
