Diane Cowin

Principal

Diane Cowin joined LOPEZGARCIA GROUP in 2001 and currently serves as the Austin office manager and corporate environmental manager. Prior to her move to Austin, Diane was the Dallas environmental division manager and led the planning and environmental staff in the completion of projects for diverse clients such as Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Frito-Lay, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Oncor Electric Delivery and Austin Energy as well as a variety of federal, state and local clients and municipalities. Projects ranged from National Environmental Policy Act environmental impact statements and environmental compliance audits to routing studies and expert witness testimony for electric transmission lines to transit planning services including Federal Transit Administration New Starts Application.

Diane received her Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Texas. She is active in numerous organizations, including:

• Real Estate Council of Austin, Transportation Committee & Affordable Housing Committee
