Cultural Resources

Cultural resources are the tangible, physical remains of people from the past. LOPEZGARCIA GROUP's cultural resources staff guides clients through federal and state compliance processes. The team has coordinated with State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPO) to help recommend locations and routes that avoid disturbing cultural resources. When important resources cannot be avoided, LOPEZGARCIA GROUP develops mitigative measures that will allow the project to proceed. The goal is to provide comprehensive investigative efforts and translate those efforts into quality reports that will exceed SHPO standards, helping clients to obtain construction clearance and comply with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
